ZoZoHCM
Built for Indian labour law

The compliance work most HR software leaves to a spreadsheet.

We looked across the major Indian HR platforms before building this. Payroll accuracy is table stakes — the six things below are where ZoHCM actually differs from a generic HR tool with an Indian price list.

POSH confidentiality that's actually enforced

The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act requires confidentiality — most software treats that as a UI setting, hiding a menu item from the wrong role. ZoHCM checks it on every single request against the database: a Company Admin sees nothing about a complaint unless they are personally a currently-active Internal Committee member. Remove someone from the committee and their access is gone on the next request, not the next deploy.

A real Grievance Redressal Committee, not a suggestion box

The Industrial Relations Code, 2020 requires a Grievance Redressal Committee for any establishment with 20 or more workers — a specific committee, with defined membership, that hears and resolves grievances on a timeline. Most HR platforms give you a generic “raise a ticket” form and call it done. ZoHCM has dedicated committee management, case assignment and resolution tracking built for this requirement specifically.

Statutory filings you can hand to your CA, not re-key

Every payroll cycle produces EPF (as a spreadsheet and as the ECR text file for upload), ESIC and Professional Tax exports, computed from the same attendance and salary data that ran payroll — not a parallel calculation you have to reconcile at year-end. The EPF/EPS wage ceiling follows the law, including the move to ₹25,000 from 17 September 2026. Check the files against your portal's current format before you submit.

Training cost, attributed correctly

“Training spend” is a number most HR systems can't actually produce. ZoHCM bills external trainers at their flat fee and costs in-house trainers at a salary-derived hourly rate — so a manager running a workshop for their team shows up as a real cost, not a rounding error, and your training budget per employee is a number you can defend.

An audit log that means something

Every mutating action — who changed a salary, who approved a leave request, who opened a POSH case — is written to an audit log your admins can filter and export, independent of whether the record itself was later edited or deleted.

Privacy and sign-in security, not just a login box

Each company's data is isolated by Postgres row-level security as well as by the application. Accounts lock after repeated failed sign-ins, new passwords are checked against known breaches, two-factor sign-in is available, and employee erasure requests are resolved against statutory retention periods in line with India's DPDP Act.

See these run against real employee data
